Blog upgrade

So yesterday my sister came to visit and she showed me how to upload page back rounds for my blog. So I spent some time yesterday and found this one. I try not to find too many girly things for Ty's sake, but hey, this is a predominantly female family...so far. So it has to have some girly things.

A new do

So today I tried to see if Peanut's hair was long enough to pull back into a pony tail. It took some effort but it worked and she was such a good sport about it. When I saw the outcome I didn't know whether to cry because she looked so much older or to be happy that it actually worked.

She is turning into such a ham! :o)

Our busy Saturday

What a Saturday! First we went to my mom's company picnic nearby. It was HOT, 97 degrees. Little Peanut was such a trooper. She did great, as you can see. The scenery was beautiful and there was so much good food. My kind of picnic! Afterwards we went to see Talin, a dear friend of mine. We sat outside on her parent's deck watching the sunset over the water and got a great family photo. What an amazing sight that was.
